Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 27 September 2026

These terms apply when you buy from hugonorth.com. Please read them before you order. They sit alongside our Delivery & Returns page and our Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

1. About us

Hugo North is a trading name of Jekat Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09048025, VAT number GB 460088596). Our registered office, which is also our trading address, is Unit 48 Dinnington Business Centre, Outgang Lane, Dinnington, Sheffield, S25 3QX.

You can contact us by email at info@1clickprint.com, by phone on 01909 561888, or by post at the address above.

2. Your order

When you place an order you are offering to buy the prints in your basket. We accept your order, and a contract between us is formed, when we email you to confirm it. If we can’t accept your order, for example because of an obvious error in the price or description, we’ll tell you and won’t take payment, or we’ll refund any payment in full.

We sell to consumers in the United Kingdom and deliver to UK addresses only. You must be 18 or over to place an order.

3. The prints

Every print is made to order once you buy it, in the size and finish you choose. Unframed prints are giclée prints on 280gsm FineArt Paper. Gallery canvas and floating-frame finishes are printed on premium canvas; floating frames hold the canvas in a wooden frame and have no glass.

We take care to show our prints accurately, but colours can look different on different screens, and hand finishing means small variations between pieces. Sizes are the nominal A3, A2 and A1 paper sizes; framed pieces are slightly larger than the print.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. The total price, including any delivery charge, is shown before you pay, and that is the price you pay.

Payment is taken when you place your order. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

5. Delivery

UK delivery costs £4.99, and is free on orders of £50 or more. Please allow 3–5 working days for us to make your print, then usually 1–2 working days for delivery by our courier. We’ll email you a tracking link when your order is dispatched.

Delivery times are estimates. If something outside our control delays your order we’ll let you know as soon as we can. If we haven’t delivered within 30 days of your order, or by a date we agreed was essential, you can cancel and we’ll refund you in full.

Your print is our responsibility until it is delivered to you, or to someone you’ve asked us to deliver it to.

6. Your right to cancel

You have the right to cancel your order, for any reason and without giving a reason, at any time from placing it until 14 days after the day you, or someone you nominate, receive it.

How to cancel. Tell us clearly that you want to cancel, by email, phone or post, quoting your order number. You can use the model cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you don’t have to. You’ve cancelled in time as long as you send us your notice before the 14 days run out.

If we haven’t dispatched your order yet, we’ll stop it and refund everything you paid, including delivery, within 14 days of you telling us.

If you’ve already received it:

  • Please send the print back to our address above within 14 days of telling us you’re cancelling. Return it unused and, where possible, in its original packaging. You pay the cost of returning it. Large framed pieces may need a courier rather than the post.
  • We’ll refund the price you paid for the print and the standard delivery charge within 14 days of receiving it back, or of you showing us proof that you’ve sent it, whichever is sooner.
  • We refund you using the same payment method you used, and we don’t charge a fee for doing so.
  • We may reduce your refund if the print has lost value because you handled it more than you’d need to in order to examine it, as you would in a shop.

7. Damaged, faulty or incorrect orders

We pack every order carefully, but if your print arrives damaged, is faulty, or isn’t what you ordered, please contact us as soon as you can, ideally within 14 days, with your order number and photos of the print and the outer packaging. We’ll send you a brand-new replacement, or refund you in full if you’d rather. Please don’t send it back unless we ask; if we do, we’ll pay for the return.

This is in addition to your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, prints must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they aren’t:

  • within 30 days of delivery, you can reject them for a full refund;
  • after that, you’re entitled to a repair or replacement, and if that isn’t possible or doesn’t fix the problem, to a price reduction or a refund;
  • you can bring a claim for up to six years after delivery (five years in Scotland), and for the first six months we must show the print wasn’t faulty when you received it.

For more information about your rights, contact Citizens Advice.

8. Artwork and copyright

All artwork on this website and in our prints is the work of Hugo North, and copyright remains with us. Buying a print lets you display and enjoy it, and sell or give it on as a physical item, but not copy, reproduce or use the artwork for any other purpose.

9. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to keep to these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that isn’t foreseeable, or for any business losses, as we sell to consumers for private use only.

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the prints.

10. Events outside our control

We’re not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier disruption or extreme weather. If this happens we’ll tell you and do what we can to reduce the delay. If the delay is significant, you can cancel and we’ll refund you in full.

11. Your personal information

We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy Policy.

12. Complaints and disputes

If you’re unhappy with anything, please contact us first using the details in section 1 and we’ll do our best to put it right quickly.

If we can’t resolve your complaint, we’ll tell you in writing, give you the details of an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider and tell you whether we’re willing to use it. You can also get free, impartial advice from the Citizens Advice consumer service.

13. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring them in the courts there.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when you placed it.
